How can I create the pdf of 2d section view microstation file which has been generated from a 3d file containing lots of vendor models? The microstation is failing to create pdf and stops working.

Questions about plot should be placed under the proper Printing and Plotting forum.

You can edit your post and select More and then Move.

Working with large/complex drawings make sure you're using references and you should create layouts with Visible Edges (not Dynamic) so that Microstation can handle that plot.
