[PD CONNECT 10.10.00.23][Win10]We are trying to speed up our sheet creation process, and are attempting to use 'Border Attachment', but are having an issue with printing. I have previously had the same, unresolved issue with v8i. TR342679 SR8001430780
When setting up sheets, we reference the title block in, move it to suit the design files, then manually change design model to sheet, set the annotation scale, define the sheet size, before manually moving and rotating the 'Sheet Boundary' to suit. When printing, the print dialog correctly selects the corresponding paper size, and everything works OK. If we then set the 'Border Attachment' to the same referenced title block, everything still seems to work OK.
However, at the initial setup, if we change the model type, set the annotation scale, then set the 'Border Attachment' to the title block reference, which correctly aligns with the title block and displays the correct paper size in the model properties dialog, the print dialog chooses the wrong, smallest paper size. I have tested this with our plot drivers and the default drivers and the error remains.
Ideally, I would like to use 'Border Attachment' for the initial setup because it is quicker, and requires no manual input, and I have hashed together a bit of VBA to automate the whole design-to-sheet process, utilising 'Border Attachment', which works great apart from printing.
We also have an automated routine which we run when issuing sheets, which creates a number of files including a PDF, which saves us so much time, but if the pdf's are the wrong size, they are more-or-less useless.
Has anyone come across this issue before, or does anyone have any suggestions I should try?
