Or IS there a variable? EVERY time I try and open a pset I have to hunt down the folder under "Directory". I would like to at least see a directory on our server. Right now and ever since I stared using PO I have to look somewhere other than this folder on this computer
and while I'm here is there some way to make this dialog box larger so I can see the entire line(s)

Yes and no.
Set MS_PRINTDEF_PATH to "$(_DGNDIR)" (no quotes) in your Configuration Variables.
I'm using Connect r11, same variable for v8i, iirc.
The variable dialog box may not be adjustable, you may be able to click on one to see the full name.

Rob Rayner thanks for your input. Unfortunately it did not work. When I open PO then "Open Print Set File" I am taken to the same old place. When I set the variable the Expansion shows [Null]. I would like to go at least to My print set folder on the company's public server. It's just for company uses.

Dbl K- That simply means your _DGNDIR variable is absent or incorrect. You'll need to track down the configuration file that contains that and fix it. If it's painless and easy sometimes a ismple re-install can clear these things up.
