Hello All,
We read color in the pen file like
switch (color)
If the user set symbology override, the color will be changed. According to our company standard, the ref border file should not be overrided, but the other ref files should be overrided. I'd like to know, if pen file can read the original color, even the user set the symbology override by mistake, it can work still? Thanks a lot.
Changsong,
Far as I know, MicroStation will plot what you have displayed on the screen. You could set up a pen table (Under Resymbolization in the Plot Dialog) to control the weights in the border, regardless of overrides.

Hello Tom,
I think it can be achieved. Refer to the pic below:
But I don't understand how to define the "All Files" and "Master File", If I can define a "Border file", then set its level symbology off, I think it should be OK.
Thanks for reply.
I can't be sure, but it looks like you could use the "Add..." button in that dialog to define another group of display settings (Like "All Files" or "Master File") where you may be able to identify your border, and turn Level Overrides OFF for that file only.

Yes, it is what I'm going to do. But if you click add, it just let you to input a name without definition, how could Iplot know what files are included? It seems "All Files" and "Master File" are keywords?
I'm not very familiar with IPLOT, but try the file name, or the logical name, I'd expect one of those should work
I tried file name or logical name, it seems the logical name works. But logical name could be empty for ref files, and logicl name cannot be set for nested ref files, it is not achieve my goal still.
Thanks a lot.
