We have dgn files that contain several models. The default model contains all of the graphics. Other models are used for printing parts of the default model graphics. Saved views and references are used to pull appropriate parts from the default model to the other models. When we print with print organizer we are able to drag in the one dgn file and PO expands it into however many sheets it contains. This works well with the exception that the default model is also imported into print organizer. Is there a way to make one or any model un printable in print organizer? thanks
Ray

Go to the levelmanager, select all levels that you do not want to print from that model and uncheck "print".
Here's where to uncheck.
If "Print" is not available, right click the bar and select it there to make it show.

we don't want to block levels from printing but models on a file by file basis. We have a mixture of older and newer drawings, If we select to only print sheet models, many/most of the older drawings will not be selected/processed in print organizer.
In the drawings you want printed that aren't sheet models, how do you determine the printing area? If you have a shape on a specific level and "tell" Print Organizer to use that shape for your print boundary, then any model that doesn't have that shape will be ignored.
If the way you define printed area isn't standardized, it would be a challenge to find a standard way to tell the computer what to ignore.
Although I do like the idea of a model flag for "print". It would be one more thing for people to overlook, but I can see some use to it. Maybe you can post that to the "Ideas" section?

In all of the models, we use an automatically placed fence using zoom extents to define the plot area. Newer drawing filess may have the default model with several title blocks on it. Other models in the same file lay out the individual sheets that we need to plot. The default model is the model for which we occasionally want to turn plotting off.
I will post to the Ideas section. Thank you
