My printer driver suddenly disappeared, so I have tried reloading it. When I go to reload it an error message appears 'Invalid Printer Driver Configuration'.
I have copied the .plt driver file over from a colleagues PC who's is working fine, yet it still comes up with the same error message.
Any help would be appreciated.
v8i uses Printername.pltcfg
not .plt , plt was pre v8i
what version of Mstn are you working with?
When you control p what happens?
if you get the printer dialog, can you choose bentley driver option and browse to all the printernames.pltcfg files folder
FYI the default set ones out of the box live on your pc here
But your customised ones may be on your cad server

Thanks for your help Lorys - I am working on V8 addition.
When I control P the print dialog appears. I can load the generic bentley print drivers, but the customised .pltcfg wont load.
Ideally I need my customised print drive file to load because my line weights are awful at the moment!
Laura :)
I' sorry but you cant use .pltcfg in V8 as I said before that is a v8i file.
I suggest you copy and rename the Bentley default pdf.plt and create a custom pentable to set your line weights or in the penweights section modify the set widths, then name your copypdf.plt to another logical name so users know to use it .. personally I like pentables better... and you can tell the printer diver to load the specific pentable without you manually choosing it each time...
