I am having difficulty saving print styles. This only happens on certain files, and I cannot figure out what the issue is. 95% of the files that I am working with save the print style with no problems. Any ideas?
As a side note, I come from an AutoCAD background, and just started using Microsation for the first time on a project this past November and have been teaching myself as I go.
Not a real answer- I have never needed to use print styles. Print Organizer, plotter file (pltcfg), occasional pen table handles everything. I also find the Sheet Index feature annoying and buggy. Your needs may be different.
Sympathy for the Autodesk to Bentley switch, I did the reverse, pure he!! for 2 years, fortunately I was doing mostly road design (civil3d)

Moving from AutoCAD to Microstation is definitely a culture shock. My background is mostly parametric modeling with Inventor and Fusion360, but there were more opportunities in the 2D world, so I got my AutoCAD Certified Professional certification, tested at the company I work for on AutoCAD, but the project required Microstation, so here I am.
