I have a standard border that I am using that has a rectangle around it defining the print area. This rectangle is on the level "border plot". I have my value for Automatic Fit View set to "border plot". This used to automatically fit the view to that rectangle when I would go to print. I did an update a while ago and it no longer works. Is there another way to do this? I need to use "Print Organizer" to be able to print multiple files at once, and I need to have them print the right area.
That's a question for the printing subforum.
In the print organizer you can set the print border in the "fence" register by clicking on "define from shape..." -> enter the level name in "shape properties", hit enter and click on OK. Then the print border is set to the shape that's on the specified level. You have to go through these steps for each file only once as long as the shape doesn't get changed in size or position. Hope that helps.
The following article may help https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/microstation_printing/w/wiki/21568/video-microstation-print-organizer-create-a-print-set-from-a-shape please also specify the version being used when posting.
That video should be of help.
(My old English teacher would've said "The German accent shines through this video like a black bra through a white blouse". Sorry, I could not resist making this comment).
Thanks! I'm using version 08.11.07.443. That works for the print organizer. Is there any way to get it to work for the Automatic Fit View again? So that when just printing one drawing it would automatically fit view.
How did you set it in the first place?
