text and linestyles showing up incorrectly on one sheet within a pset.

I have had this issue several times over the years, and have never been able to resolve it. Maybe someone else knows the answer. I have created a PSET with three sheets in the file. Two of the sheets plot exactly like I would want them to plot, but the 3rd sheet plots with a totally different text, and some linestyles not plotting correctly. All three sheets are referencing the exact same base files to create the sheets.

  • I have seen this sort of thing, rarely, and I don't know if I've ever found a good answer to it. I do know that in one case, one of the sheets (for whatever reason) was using RSC versions of our regular TTF. and I know one other time I had to import the correct linestyle definitions because those had gotten corrupted somehow...but once in a while there's just...nothing.

While this probably isn't your issue, are you using any command-line switches to open Microstation?

  • I had similar problem ... I had to delete the model and start over and somehow the model was corrupted or had some setting I couldn't change..

I even have had objects and levels  or models copied from inroads that wont let me change anything saying something about a controlled model or element even xref and copy thru maintained this annyoying error.... only fix was to go back and tell modeller to make me new file .....
