Hello Folks,
We have established .pset's, .pltcfg's and pentables that were created by previous admin folks. The Print Organizer has been working correctly for years now. Recently we added several new Line Styles. When we use the Print dialog the new Line Styles will print to a .pdf. But, when we use the established .pset's, with the same .pltcfg and .tbl, in Print Organizer the new Line Styles print as a solid line. All the other Line Styles still print correctly. Does anyone have any ideas what is happening and how to fix it?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
God bless,
David

I still think it may be related to that config switch...Are your new linestyles in the same RSC file as your old ones, or are they in a new RSC? Are the RSC files in the same locations as the old linestyles?

We added the new Line Styles to the one .rsc file that contains the existing Line Styles. The file is in the same location as before.
The only thing about the config switch is that we haven't changed versions for years and it still worked with the old Line Styles.

Strange...!
Have you tried setting the variable just to see if it makes a difference? I can understand why it shouldn't (!) but it might be worth trying anyways.
I have seen linestyle definitions in a drawing get corrupt, so that I needed to re-import the linestyles so they would display correctly (that one's maddening) but that affected everything, not just printing through print organizer.
Another thing that shouldn't make a difference...is your print definition set with Rasterized on or off? What happens if you try with the other setting? I know that doesn't sound like it should be the problem, but I've seen some strange things in my day...
Good Morning MaryB,
Thank you so much for all your help and suggestions. I will try them but first I am going to try using a new file and see if the Line Styles will print then. It dawned on me last night that I am using a Consultant's file that could be corrupt. After all that if it still doesn't work then I guess I'll have to put a ticket into Bentley and see how long that will take.
Thank you again for all the help! I appreciate it.
Never discount the potential corruption of an old file of unknown origin :-)
Good luck!
