I'm trying to export my .dgn file to .pdf. Unfortunately, when I print I do not get the high resolution print as seen in my original .dgn file. It is only when I save as a .dwg and then export to pdf do I get the high resolution I want. However, when I export to that .dwg, my fonts are messed up. My goal is to go straight from dgn to pdf with the ability to zoom in on sections of my drawing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
I've attached a picture below of some random text that shows how blocky the text becomes.
Solved.... Line weights were being applied, so I went to File -> Print -> Settings -> Print Attributes -> Unchecked Line Weights. Now everything is crisp and clear.

you can also change the dpi resolution of your drawing to improve viewing quality, also set text to text searchable keeps text as text and not vector, under advanced options makes a lot of difference ..( in the pdf.pltcfg file) leave you line weights on and teach people how to use toggle line weights on off in their pdf viewer ie acrobat reader use Control 5 keys together and toggles lineweights on/ off especially when zooming in too much....
