Hi,
In Microstation v8, right after I give the command to print, the program stops working and does not open the printing settings window anymore.
I have already put it compability mode for XP (Pack 3), but it did not work aswell. I also realized that the file pdf.plt. was no longer in workspace/system.
Does someone know how to fix this, please?

That is a very, very, very old version.What operating system is on your computer? That version of Microstation is not guaranteed to work with current operating systems.
Has it always done this, or is this new behavior? Windows updates are well known to occasionally break functionality.

I'm not sure.As I said, Windows updates have been known to cause all sorts of problems. You can try to roll back the latest Windows update to see if that solves your problem.
Beyond that, you may be stuck. Bentley stopped supporting that version of MicroStation years ago, and they absolutely can't support it on an operating system it was never designed for.
Maybe someone else here will have an idea, but I don't personally know of anything that can make V8.0 work on Windows 10.
