Hi,
I have some problems when trying to resymbolize my graphical elements on printed output. I use a pen table that remaps all my elements. Unfortunately the line styles are not printed with my setting from pen table. Is there another setting I have to change?
Kind regards
Marcel
What is your element selection criteria? Are you sure that the element is being "trapped"?

Hi MaryB,
my element selection criteria is set to trap elemnts by level. The color of the lines are changed with my tbl file but the output style is ignored.
It seems to be a bug (or another setting?) in MicroStation Connect Edition (Update 14). If I use the same file an pen table in V8i SS10 the line style is changed as configured in my pen table. Maybe someone can comprehend it?
Please post sample file, containing the line in question along with the Pen Table for review

This is an example that shows that the color is changed with tbl file but the style not.

Thanks for posting the files, I am able to reproduce this here and will have this reviewed / file a defect if required.
The same files using in MicroStation V8i SS10, work fine. I also noticed that in View Attributes if you turn off 'Level Overrides' then the style will appear solid in the View and Print.

Yes, if I turn off the Level Overrides in the print settings (my actual workaround), the print looks as expected. I already opened a service request an got the defect number "Defect 812115" for this. So thank you for your help.

did you try to rebuild the pentable from scratch in CE ( not saying it will work but trying to rule out another variable)... some things just dont translate from V8i to CE... like psets you just have to make new ones...

Hi Lorys,
I created the pentable from scratch in CE. And with this pentable it worked well in V8i but not in CE.
