Hi, Bentley Communities
I am using MicroStation V8i Version 08.11.09.832.
We have plan sheet files that reference a file that contains several nested references such as existing utilities.
We want to gray most elements except for certain levels in one nested reference.
We used overrides in Level Manager and changed the colors to gray, but it does not work.
We made sure that Level Overrides are on in Reference Presentation for that particular reference, which has live nesting.
I could not use Reference Setting, Adjust Colors, Fix Color, make Saturation to zero, and change Value since it was nested reference.
Level Overrides is on in my View Attributes and MS_LEVEL_EDIT_NESTED_ATTACHMENT_LEVELS = 1 to allow nested references level control.
When I opened the Printer Driver Configuration, Gray Color we are using, 96, was set to 0,0,0. When we changed to 165,165,165, many of the color changed. But, for one reference (nested one, level 1), I still can't have the override color be in effect.
Thank you for your advice in advance.
Yoko
Is there anything unusual about that single file? Is it DGN or DWG?In the level manager, did you "drill down" to the nested reference levels to change the overrides, or did you just change them for the file it is nested into?
