creating better quality pdf's

I've changed my cfg plot file setting to PRECISION = MAXIMUM and the resultant file is no better and less than 10% of the file size when PRECISION was set to STANDARD. Can anyone offer suggestions as to how to improve pdf quality?

Yea, that's what it is. You should be seeing nice sharp output, but the lines are just too fat. Suggest you make a copy and modify, then use the copy.
