Hello everybody,
Is there any way to eliminate "Microstation Print In Progress" pop-up note? It's very destructive and unpractical while creating PDF prints from drawings.
It pups up every time in front of Adobe "Save PDF File As" tab and doesn't bring any value to the task.
Thank you.
you need to modify the pdf.pltcfg driver or a copy of …. to not load acrobat after every pdf is created ie false
in the setting under file name default I have
$(MS_PLTFILES)$(basename(_DGNFILE))
I also set up in my workspace config to always use this printer by default and to always send all pdfs to C:\temp\pdfsout
That way I always know where to look and its super faster than network, once I'm happy with the pdfs I bind them with BluebeamReview or similar and move it to where it needs to be on server or projects folder. or email etc. this workflow is very efficient and very fast.. even with batch printing and or print organiser I use the same printer and same output folder..
Note always use a copy of the pdf.pltcfg never the original as if you break it you always have the original to work with as a master copy..
Let me know how you get on and if you need more help with this..
