What is the exact version no. (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation that you are using? Use key-in VERSION to see the version no. in the MicroStation Message Center, or Help→About MicroStation in the backstage.
VERSION
See this blog that shows you how to obtain MicroStation's version number.
There is a Printing Forum that is more relevant to your question. You can move your post using the More|Move button.

Hi
Thanks
MicroStation CONNECT Edition - Version 10.13.00.48 Windows x64 , Using RealDWG 2019
Rod has this been improved in Connect... when I used the tickbox RASTERISED in v8i we get crappy resolution, but in the printer settings use transparency allowed tick is on (like dont print construction lines off), and it works great in v8i without the tick box in your screen shot...

You still can have the resolution issues in CONNECT, I always up the driver resolution when turning the Rasterized option on. I haven't tested this out in a while, but it was required for PDF output that the Rasterized checkbox be on to see transparency on the output. Other types of print output it didn't need to be.

Hi Rod,
Thanks for the reply,
if i tick on that rasterized option, image is fading out but along with vector data also getting fadeout like lines, symbols, texts are getting pixeled out.

Look again at Rod Wing's screenshot of that dialog. Note that he has the Rasterized toggle checked.
