Can anyone tell me the best way to attach a raster image (jpeg) to a sheet file without it being seen as a raster image / reference without losing quality? I simply want to attach an jpeg image at good quality.
It would be helpful to know what version of Microstation you are using before anyone gives a good answer
Microstation CONNECT - 10.17.2.61
ORD - 2021 R1 10.10.1.3
ORD 2022 R1.1 - 10.11.3.2
ORD 2022 R3 - 10.12.2.4
Microstation v8i SS 10 - 08.11.09.919
Power InRoads v8i - 08.11.09.615
ProjectWise - 10.0.3.453
Hi, sorry I should have added I'm using OpenBuildings Designer
What problems are you seeing if you attach your jpeg as a raster reference (not a regular reference!)? That is the tool best suited to placing rasters into a drawing. Does your raster look fine in other image viewing software, and how does it look different in OBD?

Hi Mary, there is no issue with the quality of the image. I have created a set of drawings with numerous screen captures of my model to create a sequencing set. By inserting through the raster manager or reference manager these images are seen as references which in turn means they all have to go though to checking & review process. I want to shorten this process by making the images part of the sheet file and not seen as an attached reference.
It sounds like you want to embed the raster into the DGN file. This has already been discussed here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/microstation-forum/97677/urgent-embed-or-bind-raster-tiff-file-into-dgn
