Raster import methods

Hi Mary, there is no issue with the quality of the image. I have created a set of drawings with numerous screen captures of my model to create a sequencing set. By inserting through the raster manager or reference manager these images are seen as references which in turn means they all have to go though to checking & review process. I want to shorten this process by making the images part of the sheet file and not seen as an attached reference.

How did you perform the screen capture... If I use windows snipping tool I find I need to zoom in and maximise the area as much as possible in microstation to make the size of the image much bigger than I really want, then I copy to clipboard and in microstation I just paste from clipboard and  then scale down to suit  size I need this keeps picture quality as  high as possible for me and is  part of the dgn as a image object not referenced.. I do not save as  jpg or any other format  BTW  before hand .. I draw a box of the view and measure the box then turn off level of box when I do my snipping make same size as box so when I have to paste my image I turn on box and I know where it goes and can scale it back down.

I have to do this when we don't have a cell for a road sign signage face .. I google it and  use snipping zoomed to max and copy to clipboard then back to microstation and paste.scale down and keep copying it where ever needed.. I haven't experimented to make it a cell  as usually these  are obscure  council or county signs nobody else uses and not everyday.. so just
