Hi all,
One of our clients is using Microstation v8?, and has run into an error when attempting to print.
"There is no MDL driver application specified in the .plt file 'xxx.pdf'. The 'driver =' line was optional in prior versions of Microstation but is now required.
Is there a fix for this one?

Can you check what MicroStation version the client uses? From V8i it is recommended to use not .plt (supported primarily for backward compatibility), but newer .pltcfg files.

I do not recall whether in some (very) old version this configuration was optional, but from your statement it looks like your client use old .plt configuration file in a newer MicroStation version, which is not recommended.

Configuration files, delivered with MicroStation, should always be used (and modified when necessary accordingly to previous version), not files created for older version(s). Because both .plt and .pltcfg files are text files (pltcfg is xml), it's easy to compare them side-by-side to check for differences.
