CE 16.2 How is paper size selected when creating a .pset with Sheet Index??

10.16.2.34

I am trying to create a .pset from the Sheet Index. I have Print Styles setup but, I am not able to select a paper size. I have a Print Style setup to use ANSI D & one to use ANSI B but, it does not matter which style I select the ANSI B is used. Is it because ANSI B is set as the default paper size in the .pltcfg?

Is there any way to change the paper size after the .pset is developed?

  • The Sheet Index uses the paper size defined in the sheet model to determine the print paper size. That size is carried over to Print Organizer when you export the sheets in the Sheet Index to Print Organizer.

You want to have the Sheet Model paper size correct to start with as the affects scaling, positioning, etc. of your print. You can change the paper size in Print Organizer.

Your question does bring up some interesting workflow challenges, as it is not uncommon to print sheets on D Size (or larger) for public comment, then print the final plan set on B Size paper. Since you can only have one Sheet Index per WorkSet it might take some creating thinking to work around that.
