CE 16.2 How is paper size selected when creating a .pset with Sheet Index??

10.16.2.34

I am trying to create a .pset from the Sheet Index. I have Print Styles setup but, I am not able to select a paper size. I have a Print Style setup to use ANSI D & one to use ANSI B but, it does not matter which style I select the ANSI B is used. Is it because ANSI B is set as the default paper size in the .pltcfg?

Is there any way to change the paper size after the .pset is developed?

  • The Sheet Index is used to collect and organize the sheets (sheet models only) in your project (WorkSet). You can set up automatic sheet numbering criteria for different folders in the index that are automatically added to the sheet models. If you move a sheet, the numbers automatically adjust. From the Sheet Index it can be as easy as one click to send your sheets to Print Organizer, then one click in Print Organizer to print.

As Ian Lapper points out, it's usually not that easy.

It takes a lot of time, and patience, to get workflows set up to use it efficiently. It is best used in conjunction with the Named Boundary tool to cut the sheets and reference them into their own sheet models. You have to set up custom drawing boundaries so that the cut area is placed in the correct location on the sheet.

  • Hi Rod sounds like you should create a workbook on how to set it up and all things  print organizer  and get bentley to pay for it.. as the help is hopeless....

alternatively an article / tutorial in your  online mag newsletter  at envisioncad would be awesome...
