Yep, that would do it. A lot of workspaces restrict printers and pltcfgs to better control printed output.

Your local installation should have a printer.pltcfg somewhere. It may have different settings than what is defined for your workspace pltcfg, so you may not want to use it without checking.

Now I understand why I can't print directly to printer. It looks like our workspace only has pdf.pltcfg but no printer.pltcfg.

What Print configuration (*.PLTCFG) are you using? Bentley delivers both a pdf.pltcfg and a printer pltcfg. The printer.pltcfg should allow you to print to your default local printer.

That said, I usually print to PDF anyways just so I can preview before I commit to paper...but it is possible to print to a printer.
