When printing to postscript or PDF how do you set white to print as white?

Open the PDF file in Acrobat, click "View" and open the "Tools" submenu.
Click "Pages." Click the "Background" item in the Pages pane.
Click "Add Background." Click the white swatch in the "From Color" control, and then click "OK" to insert the blank background.
Print the PDF.
