Hello All,
We are trying to deprecate the print to plotter functionality and replace the same with Print to PDF. Our Users have Microstation Select Series 10 , Descartes and IPLOT Organizer on the System. Although IPLOT has Export to PDF option , we are not getting same result as with print to plotter using the PEn table and design script files.
Other Question I have is , is there a way to use command line to generate PDF files using IPLOT ? I havent been able to find any documentation regarding the same and one of the old forum's from 2014 here mentions that its not feasible. Link of the article :

Any help is highly appreciated.

I would dump iPlot. Newer Print Organizer works great. Make a copy of the Bentley provided pdf.pltcfg and make changes for your site. Your print to PDF strategy is sound, easy enough to print the PDF to whatever device necessary. I've never fooled with print from command line, but many folks do that.

Yes so today we do generate print from Iplot via a command line. The current architecture we print to a printer queue, however now we are looking to move towards printing to a PDF and send it over to a user.
