When going to print my pdf the reference break, go missing and don't show colour. Colour is on because it can be seen at the bottom.
Version: Microstation V8. References are saves by 'saved view'. Never had an issue till now.
Please help. Left is what is drawn & right is what the pdf comes out as.
looks like fill is turned of in your print settings. this is a printer issue you in the wrong area...
Are you using customised pdf.pltcfg?
Have you looked at the print dialog > print settings?
What happens if you use printer.pltcfg and print direct to a colour printer.. ( again check printer settings and attributes)
have you got a pentable loaded in addition to your pdf.pltcfg ?
is the fill on a non printable level? look at the level manager and turn on the extra attributes to see if print or no print is used for the red fills...
Your snap shots are not enough to go on.. but it looks like there are not missing refs just the fills dont print.

Hi Absta, Thanks for the post.If you are experiencing troubles with printing your drawings, toggling on the Rasterized option within the Print dialog is a good "catch-all" solution.
Based on your screenshot, it looks like you are potentially working with Dynamic Views. You can read more about printing Dynamic Views in the following Wiki article:communities.bentley.com/.../printing-dynamic-views-what-works-what-does-not
Hey Lorys,
Fill is kept on once printing to pdf. No custom pdf, other documents are fine it's just this one.
Don't know how to check what levels are unprintable? Level manager doesn't show anything neither does the references. I think it might be the actual drawing as it was imported in from a client but me nor people in my office have come across this issue before.
Attributes are fine, thank you for your reply though

Hey,
Yea i've had a play with the print dialog & attributes but unfortunately no luck.
I've used dynamic views on microstation for years with no issue before.
But thank you for your reply :)
in the level manager there are tabs across the top line/ bar you can add the print option or add more via rmb on the bar then you can see if specific level is barred or locked from no print or print tick on or tick off, also check what level the fill is also if imported from acad it might not be a fill at all but a very dense pattern check the properties of the red fill....
Try delete the fill at the source and rebuild the fill on a new level.. see if that fixes things
