When I'm creating a pdf using GDOT MicroStation, with a text size of 0.9, I have a problem with legibility. My colleague can manage it in AutoCad. What can I do?
up the resolution in the pdf .pltcfg
set the options to advanced so the text is real text not an image and is also searchable
make sure rasterise tick box on the dialog of the print preview is NOT TICKED. as you want text to say text not burned into the raster..
btw 0.9 is 75% of the min size I'm allow to use for our local DoT min print size on finished a paper from pdf is 1.8 here.. what paper size are you printing your dgn to pdf and what scale? this can change the way things look?
When your acad cousin has produced his pdf what paper size , what scale and what is the resolution or DPI in his pdf adobe acrobat can tell you this from the properties tab.. is you pdf of the same data the same result ie properties wise?
