Using the reader 9.3 we get an error "3D data parsing error"
the only work around is to "" When creating the 3D PDF file from within Microstation using the print function, go to the 3D plotting settings and deselect "Convert wireframe geometry" and Convert annotations".
please have a look on this forum: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2637788
who will solve this issue Bentley ore Adobe?
all created 3D pdf files with the settings on, are not viewable any more with the 9.3 version of the reader!
Rick,
this is a known problem.

Bentley is waiting for a fix by Adobe. For the moment there is no alternative than using older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Be aware that the problem seems to arise in any 8.3 or 9.3 Version of Adobe Acrobat.
Matt Gooding from Bentley sent me the following mail concerning the issue:
Matt Gooding:Hi Gunnar, The fix will need to come from Adobe's side to make existing PDFs work - I've been assured that they are working on it and will have a release as soon as it can fit into their schedule. I've emphasized that this is causing our customers (and theirs) a lot of pain, so they seem to be plenty motivated. Thanks, Matt
