We have a couple of pen tables that we use to control mono plots and color plots. My problem is the pen tables do not execute when I switch from a mono .pltcfg to a color .pltcfg. I have to manually load the pen tables each time. In the plot dialog box it confirms that the correct pen table is loaded, but if I edit the loaded pen table sometimes it's the wrong table. I have the "Pen Table Search Path" variable set to the correct folder to find the pen tables. Each .pltcfg file that we use has the correct pen table listed. I have been working on this for a while, but I give up. Any ideas what to try next?
TIA Dan
Dan,
The only thing I can think of is the Ms_Pentable config varriable. Is it set to some other directory path than where your pen tables exist.
Just a thought ........... Roland

That variable is pointing to the correct location. One thing I forgot to add, if I have the mono pltcfg loaded, and if I detach the mono pen table, then when I select the color pltcfg, the correct pen table loads.
One hint from me:
What is listed in your *.pltcfg file under:
<DefaultPenTableFileName>Bestand.tbl</DefaultPenTableFileName>
What about the path names?

Here's my color table
<DefaultPenTableFileName>I:\Cad-Geopak_Support_Files\PLOTDRV\v8i\Win7\color.tbl</DefaultPenTableFileName>
Here's my mono
<DefaultPenTableFileName>I:\Cad-Geopak_Support_Files\PLOTDRV\v8i\Win7\hlc.tbl</DefaultPenTableFileName>
It appears they are looking at the correct location and file.
Remove your path from the *.pltcfg and set the path with MS_PENTABLE config variable, as Roland suggested!
