Hello,
We have been using the batch print function and finally biting the bullet and moving to Print Organizer (PO). However, we are finding that the fonts are not plotting correctly and the default font is being substituted. When we plot from the drawing, everything is fine, but when we plot from PO using the same plt settings and pentable, the fonts are not the correct font.
Is this a known issue? Anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks
Are you assigning the workspace to the plots? There is a project and user selection area.

Yes, I have.
I should probably also note that I have this nasty bug that drives me crazy some days (possibly related?). When I start V8i, my project folder is usually already selected from the previous setting. However, I must always remember to select some other project, then select the project of choice again. If I do not do this 'unselect, select' routine, the fonts do not load in my drawing either. I only have to do this each time I as start v8i - as long as I don't close v8i, it is fine for the next time I open the drawing.
I would say the problems are most definitely related. Print Organizer has no way of knowing your little workspace quirk when it starts its own session of MicroStation behind the scenes. Fix your workspace font problem and the Print Organizer problem should be resolved.

RodWing, You were correct. I did not have the fonts loaded onto my individual workstation. I checked out the workspace configurations under the symbology category to find where MicroStation was looking. I guess we really should have this directed to a common location on our server so that each person working on a project should have common access to the font resource files.
CAD_Sweetness, did you ever resolve your project unselect/select issue? I seem to be having the same problem.
