Pattern Line Weights

Hi,

I am having a problem with the line weights for all my patterns.

No matter what line attributes I place a pattern with, they only print as a really thick line. This has only happened since I upgraded to version 08.11.09.357 - Previous versions didn't have this problem.

I haven't changed my pen weight file in any way. Even older files print incorrectly now. I cannot seam to find any way to override the pen weights of patterns. Has something changed in this version that I don't know about?

I have attached an example:

The PDF shows what my print looks like. The borders are 0.25mm thick, and the pattern on the left should be 0.01mm thick, but clearly it looks thicker than the border. The pattern on the right should be 0.18mm thick, but again the pattern looks thicker than the 0.25mm border.

  • I think you should install the very latest version of microstation as something  is very wrong with your printing as I said I used your file and your pentable in my version of microstation ss2  and in ss1 and both worked fine but I did not use the printer.pltcfg but the pdf.pltcfg instead I think your printer.pltcfg file has some settings that have been changed and your windows pdf maker doesnt like it .. especially the part of making rounded or mitered corners...

What happens if you print straight to paper with your pentable and a windows configured system printer...?
