When we print a filled area including at least one hole, we get some lines joining the hole's vertices and the area's vertices. We only get these lines when we print the documents on paper, never in a pdf file. Have you got a solution to avoid this problem ?
Also,
What type of printer are you getting your paper output from. I know that in the past I have had to specify "Use alternate fill pattern instead of winding fill pattern" with the Oce printers, but this was because some filled areas would not get filled and some holes would get filled.

We are using MicroStation v. 08.05.01.25.
The users tried to print on plotters, and I tried on an office printer, the problem is always present.
Here are the file and the used .plt. I don't have a scanner handy right now, I'll try to add a scan copy later.
Here is a scan of the problem : we have many lines which shouldn't appear.
Thanks for the screenshot.I have been working on this issue and cannot reproduce the error using the very same MicroStation version 08.05.01.25 with printer driver HPGL2.plt.What I understand this is not the printer driver what is used, but another dynamically created .PLT file is created and used.I recommend to take the default HLGL2.PLT. make modifications for thickness and pen-definitions when needed and then create a plot.
Let me suggest you install the most current version of the Windows driver for the device you are printing to from printer.plt. If you are and you are using a laserjet printer, try another of the drivers (Ex: PCL/5, PCL/6 or PS "if device is capable").
A service request was filed on this issue, then my client pressed me to take care of more urgent problems and decided to drop the subject using other ways to make their prints.
