We are using MicroStation V8 2004. I am trying to plot a secure PDF (read /print only). In V8i I was able to accomplish this by setting the Owner Password. In V8 2004 there is a password setting but you have to have the password to open the PDF. I do not want that. does anyone know how to get a secure PDF without a password to open.
I tried changing the qualifier to ownerpassword in pdf.plt via V8 2004 and it errors off. Looks like V8 2004 only recognizes the userpassword thus you have to enter the password to access the pdf. V8i has both owner and user password options adding the extra option.
