I'm trying to generate a 3D PDF of a file and it starts to create the PDF, when it gives this error message and I get the Microstation has stopped working pop-up box [Exception encountered inside [callPlotHookMethod [OnNewModelRef]]. Has anyone else received this error message and does anyone know what might be triggering it in the file.

Try setting a Minimum Element Size, such as 0.800
Print dialog box -> Settings -> 3d Plotting -> General -> Minimum Element Size (Meters) = 0.800
If the failure continues, attempt an Export > U3D in MicroStation. If this fails I suggest posting the Export error to the MicroStation forum.
I think it must be a custom 3D linestyle that I had in the file, once I dropped the linestyle it worked.
