VRAY for MODO

Hi,

In the beta forum of the connect edition I did a request for V-Ray plugin or V-Ray materials wiki conversion. It is in the visualization area of "ideas". By now it only has three votes. If you also think this is important in a future version of MS I think you should vote.

You must first be an approved member of the private MicroStation CONNECT Edition Early Access Program community. Ask for it and then vote if you want.

Well, some important things happen since then. E-on now is part of the family. It would be great to see Path Tracer inside Microstation along with Luxology.

V-ray as a plug-in available inside Microstation would be something very good. Luxology it is great and fast but, whether we like or not , V-ray it is a standard.

Yes, I'd embrace a V-ray plugin for MicroStation without hesitation. It will never be as easy to use as Maxwell but since support for the Maxwell plugin has been discontinued, I'm keen to find a good replacement.

Personally, I'd also be happy with either Renderman or Arnold. Just as long it's one of the big players that have a ton of industry support going into the future.
