"Attached Projection" material not rendering

I have modelled a stair where 4 steps (out of a total of 15) are rotated and are NOT ALIGNED with either the x or y axis.

For those 4 steps (seen in the foreground), I have "attached a projection" for the material (the wood) and rotated it so that it is parallel with the front edge of the step. The above picture is as seen on the screen with Display Style Illustration > Ignore Lighting.

When I render this, the attached material disappears (the picture below is when it has been rendered).

Is this a bug in MicroStation (I am using 08.11.09.459), or am I doing something wrong?

TIA,
Jan

  • Nasir,
Design File Setting: MU millimeter, SU micrometer, resolution 10000 per Distance Meter.
Global origin is at the corner of the object (the object - house - is approx. 18 x 6 x 6 m).
In your example (picture), I see that some of the rotated steps have the material aligned, and some don't - and it all works fine!
Anyway, in reply to the the post above from Paul Chater, I will email him the file.
    Thanks,
