I'm trying to do an animation with a Descartes STM element but the animation seems to loose all its detail when creating the animation. Below is a screen capture of how the STM looks normally rendered using thematic height and underneath is how it is appearing when saving the animation.
Thanks for the responses guys.
Mathieu,
- The screen shot above is actually from the animation preview. The animation itself appears the same when recorded.
- I have shadows ticked off in my Thematic Height Display style.
- I have supplied my dataset via ftp incoming\Jovan_STM_Animation_20150512.zip
Jerry,
- I have tried to use both "Smooth" & "Luxology" render modes in the animation recording options and they both produce the same result.
Jovan.
Hi Jovan,
Ok it seems that the problem is that the height of the camera path creates some mathematical problem with the resolution selection algorithm.
The solution is to move up a bit the camera path.
Thanks,
Mathieu

Thanks for the solution Mathieu. Considering that I am trying to portray bathymetric data, my logic was to have the camera at sea level but I suppose this idea wont work.
