Animation with STM Resolution

Hi Jovan,

Hmm looks pretty strange. Even at the lowest resolution of the STM there should be some bumps appearing, but what you are showing is completely flat.

Are you seeing a flat STM with the Animation Preview?

Could you send us your dataset so that we could check what is going on?

Are you saving animation using shading and not Luxology? The reason I ask is Luxology is not going to know anything about a scalable terrain it might get it right on the first frame but unless you create a new scene per frame I don't know how this could work.

You can try turning off ignore open elements and text which will force an LXO per frame. Your best be would probably be from view smooth.

Jerry's post made me think about a limitation that might cause your problem. STM isn't working properly when Display Shadows is turned on.

- The screen shot above is actually from the animation preview. The animation itself appears the same when recorded.

- I have shadows ticked off in my Thematic Height Display style.

- I have supplied my dataset via ftp incoming\Jovan_STM_Animation_20150512.zip

- I have tried to use both "Smooth" & "Luxology" render modes in the animation recording options and they both produce the same result.

Thanks for the dataset, I am able to reproduce the problem.
