Hello, i created a mesh with Blender and I export with OBJ format to AECOsim. This have not problem. The Render with Luxology in AECOsim is correct.
Now I subdivided the mesh in the Blender. Only one facet. I export with OBJ format to AECOsim. But now the mesh have some black blotches and the render with luxology in AECOsim not is correct.
What's happening? In Blender I not see this problem. The render in Blender is correct.
See pdf. I attached OBJ file with subdivide mesh and not subdivide mesh.
Thank you.

Hi Joaquin,
I have tested your file on AecoSim 08.11.09.750_en and it is fine.
My workflow is:
- Double click on Aecosim icon on desktop
- Files of type choose *.obj
- Click on Options bottom and flag the first option: Override normals specified in file and click ok
- Open the file

Hi Mara, this is a solution but, now the luxology render is faceted. See image.
This render is the original. The mesh not is subdivided. This is correct. Not faceted.
How can I get this render not faceted?
Hi Mara, I have found the solution a faceted mesh.
I have to use the tool "faced smooting". Follow the steps indicated microstation (reset for the end facet smooting).
In this post is explained communities.bentley.com/.../9623
Then steps for import obj:
1-Import with option override normals specified in files (optional import OBJ groups and Rotate about Y axis)
2-In Microstation use tool "faced smooting"
Thank you for your help.
