Thank you. I saw on this site, but i would like feedback from a person who use it.
This requirements are the minimum requirements...

I wonder if you need *anything* special for MicroStation these days ... even latest Gen Intel Graphics on CPU can handle 3D to an extend that you get your way.

• SSD is always worth the money
• Maybe some mid class Geforce or Radeon instead of Intel, ok
• 64bit HW is standard, get Windows 64 bit for that (also standard)
• more than 8GB RAM if rich models are opened

Really? Let's wait for other users advice. But maybe it's better to get a middle-of-the-road average PC for less than 1000 EUR (excluding monitors) and replace it in 2 years by another, improved one. Right now MicroStation does not need high end hardware. Maybe a new feature is needed with some next versions - and then you have budget left to buy another PC to match it. And yet another one.

Yes, today, any computer can manage 3D. But you quickly reach the limits for professional use (a whole building inside and outside with lot of details, it's complicated to display). I can do 3D with my personnal computer, but once 4 walls and 2 offices drawn, it is finished, the computer becomes very slow !

Simon, if some walls and 2 offices slow your PC down you are propably mainly using Luxology, right? Then you need to know what specifically speeds up Luxology.
