When exporting a model from AECOsim to LumenRT - is there a way to control where the LumenRT file will be saved? It always defaults to my local drive, but I want to move it to a shared drive where my AECOsim projects are located, so that others can access them. I can only do a save as or a copy which will break the link to the AECOsim model. I still want the connection between the AECOsim model and the LumenRT model to exist in case there are changes to the model.
Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers.

Hi Ariel,
are you talking about the Scenes folder?
If yes, please install again LumenRT and when you see this window:
change the path called "personal collection" in the path you need.

Mara,
As a followup to your suggestion. I tried this approach of changing the personal Collection path.
Ideally I want to specify a network drive, a shared location so my coworkers can access the same scene. It is not practical to have the scene on my local drive. It will not be backed up as part of our project files and more importantly, others cannot access the file if I'm out of the office or want to revise something I have started.
When I select the browse button, it will not recognize my network mapped drives, so if I select my drive share such as \\myserver\... it will select it...but when the drawing is exported from MS, Lumen will create a c:\myserver\... on my local drive put the lrt file under that local folder instead of the specified server location.
I tried specifying the path in the installation field as "P:\LumenRT_Projects\Scenes", I get the following installation error trying to write to the server path...I understand this as a security issue....Is there a workaround?
Is there a way to redirect this path after the installation has taken place? Edit the registry maybe?
Is LumenRT going to not function normally if the scene is located on a server drive?

Hi Gary,
as you can see here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/microstation_visualization/f/visualization-forum-1977638070/140959/lumenrt-update-2-crashes-a-lot-----general-issue-or-my-install/427371#427371
other users are facing the same.
Please try to turn off the antivirus and try again.
Hi, it is a step in the right direction to save to a network drive, however, this only allows a single location. Aecosim/MS export should be able to define the output location, ideally via the project(workset) config, but at the very least via save as dialog.
Is there any movement here?
It would be good not to have to uninstall and re-install again in order to change the personal collections path.
