Hi,I have the latest version of Lumenrt.I would like to create a basic VR game for htc vive, Occulus e.t.c. The scenery, such as roads and moving cars will all be created in Lumenrt.Question 1: Can I export the file from Lumenrt to open up in Unity VR? If so which file would it be?Question 2: Will the animation work straight from the Lumenrt file once converted to Unity VR?Question 3: Can you animate objects in Unity such as vehicles and other objects such as humans that were created in Lumenrt?RegardsJason
Jason, I may need to double check my answers but...
1. We are intending to directly publish to VR from LumenRT. I believe the technology is included in update3 of LumenRT which should be released soon.I dont know if this will give you what you want but i understand it will be compatible with both HIVE and Occulus platforms.
2 and 3 . There are some well publicized workflows to get geometry into unity in this community that might help you.

Hi Jason,
I'm sure this is what you're after:

That link is to a workflow for an older version of Unity. Here's the link to the updated workflow for the latest versions of Unity and VRTK...

Andrew.
I am testing Update 3 now and we are publishing to the Vive... my understanding is the Oculus is also supported. The export works just like it does now. You prepare your DGN, publish to LumenRT. If the machine running LumenRT is also connect the the VR equipment (HTC Vive in my case) then as soon as you move the headset the VR begins to drive the live cube. The controls/navigation of this first release are very intuitive.
I can confirm this. I have a few live cubes viewing in HTC Vive now.
