Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone has a good resources/workflow for getting models into Lumen RT. I'm looking for desert grasses/sage brush for population in Lumen.
Thanks,
Frank
Hi Frank,
If you have MicroStation CONNECT Edition this is pretty easy we let you export your model as a VUE Object or .VOB file. Just key in vob in the ribbon search area and you will be able to set the stroke tolerance and camera view to export the object. Once you have it exported you drag and drop the file on to LumenRT window to place it. You can also rename it to be a .LOB LumenRT Object to get a nice thumbnail preview requires opening the VOB in VUE and saving the Object again. The content that is delivered with LumenRT was created by distilling it through VUE.
You can find models at Cornucopia3D http://www.cornucopia3d.com/store.php?first=1&sel_dir=Plants&level=0&sel_type=Plants
If you have MicroStation CONNECT Edition then you could export any Xfrog plants you might have to VOB files and then use them as well,
Cheers,
Jerry
