The best way to achieve this is create shadow lines from Shadow Generator.

You can type in Search Ribbon:

Or go to Visualization\Home\Utlities\Solar Lightning\Shadow Generator:

Here you can define your options (view, quality, source, output mode, etc):

Then check your render options and make sure you have Render Visible Edges turn on and check the parameters:

When the render is finished go to bottom right corner "..." \Display\ and turn on Visible Edges
