Hi,
I am getting up to speed with Microstation visualizations and would appreciate if you could point me to a solution to the tiling effect of large surfaces as shown in the image attached. I am happy to replace the current materials with more suitable ones if you could suggest the best options. The materials are:
Timber planks
Hard landscape
Concrete
Grass
Water

Remeber that Help it's always a good place to start:
You'll have to play around with Material Settings until you found what you like the most. In Material Editor you can edit your pattern settings. Try diferent Mapping settings and size x and y. Of course the look in display view and render will always depend on the quality of your original texture.
For renders up close with grass you can use a more advanced feature - particles. Unfortunatly they aren't visible in Microstation views, only inside Luxology.
In your grass definitions go to Fur seetings and here you can do a lot's of things:
In general out of the box materials tends to be pretty good for a more basic render.
