  • Hi,

it always take atleast an hour to render!

An hour is completely normal, it always depends on the complexity of your scene, render settings, and resolution.

but this mode can't change the background

You'll have to use View Background.

Go to your Design File Settings and in View make a browse to your desired background.

Then, CTRL+B to open view attributes and make sure Background is active to your desired view.

This way, the output from Save Image dialog should give your render with background.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hmm. Hi again. I did try to do what you said and turn out it just only change the background for wireframe field @@
I realize i could do it with the skyphere mode by change the background on display style, but the picture with this solution just so bad.
Do you have any idea for this case? Thank anyway.

  • Through Display Styles you can change the background and edit the position and rotation, for scale you'll have to have another view and/or another background.

You can turn on or off the background from View Attributes and on top of this what is defined in any Display style you can have other background active that will override the first one.

We could have an workaround for this, to render the image without background and in post insert the needed one but there's a problem related to the alpha channel in many common file formats apparently hasn't been resolved so far. Which version your using?

    RGB Alpha Issue

Your problem is that any background defined in Display Style will only be visible in Luxology render dialog if using Environment.

If you want you can post a sample from your model so everyone can see if it has some settings that makes your render time a long one.

Normally longer render times should imply better render results but this it's not always the case.

  • You can mimic the background by drawing a shape and applying the desired picture to it as a material.

By the way, the supplied image should not take a lot of time to render with Luxology.
