hi, I have try many many ways to export my reality model (.3sm) with masked part to lumen rt and I encounter problems..
Using the reality model attAchwindows, I have try to mask with a shape above, below and also draped on my 3sm model, but when things look perfect in Microstation when exported to Lumen RT rhe mask disapear.
I have try using the standard reference command with mask using fence and still not working once in lumen rt.
I have try to uninstall lumen rt then reinstalling it but still the same problem.
If it is working could someone please explain me how to export a reality model with a mask (to hide a part of the model) to lumen rt?
Thanks

Next release of LumenRT or Microstation? and when you say next release, you mean the next update? (Lumen RT update 5, Microstation update 9) or there will be release build prior to those?
Anyway thanks for adressing this issue.
Fix is available in LumenRT update 4 (16.04.04.94) build, Build is available on Fulfilment center
OK I finaly found out what was the problem, it is a bug and I realy hope you fix it in future release. Yes you can use masking for reality model, but your mask need to be of a certain shape, exemple: a square will work but not a star, and by star I mean that if your mask have a vertex that is "inside" the two vertex next to him the mask won't work. So the masking is Ok for building because they are most of the time square but anything that require an other shape could cause problem.
Hello JDL,
Thanks for pointing out issue. Created Defect for same .
Actualy it's more about any concave shape mask won't get transfer to Lument RT, the shape have to carve inward to be ignored.
