Hallo,
again a behaviour we never see in V8i. If a scene get very complex, we experienced in several Files, that Microstation Connect Edition stops working while saving a "saved View". We didn´t report this yet, because, we couldn´t believe it. But now we recognized this in different Files, so probably someone from Bentley should look after this.
For everyone else here is a workaround we provide:
Restart MicroStation, then first set a Clip-Volume to reduce Geometry Size in the View. After that you can save the "Saved View" without problems. Probably this problem has to do something with geometry Size in the Preview.

I cannot say I have ever seen this or at least never noticed. Are you saying this seems to only occur in large data set and can you reproduce the problem in your data set?
I might need a test case if you can reproduce it.

Yes please provide data set and steps to repro. If we can get the crash it will make it much easier to fix;-)
