Hi all,
Working with LumenRT 5: I have attached the LumenRT material LRTGRASS1 to a surface. All surfaces on the same level have automaticaaly get the same material. I tried to change the color of the grass,
Now I don't want to have the color change anymore, but the Remove option is not available. How to remove the color change? (In the meanwhile I have saved the file < I can not undo anymore)
Best regards
Hi Mark,
When a grass material is used, the "COLOR" section should be completely disabled because changing the color or texture would have no effect.
It seems the "load image" button is not disabled as it should be. This is a bug in the user interface.
Can you confirm that loading an image indeed has no effect on the render?
If yes, then you can leave the setting as it is.
If no, can you put a screenshot of the LumenRT main window?
Also, whenever you save your scene, LumenRT creates a .bak file next to your .lrt file, containing the previous version.
If you rename the .bak into .lrt, maybe you will get back your previous state.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alexandre
The color section was available when using the grass material. The Load Image button is not disabled and loading the another image has no effect.
Thans for the BAK tip, but a saved the scene many times. Sometimes when changing between plants , LumenRT crashes so I save (CRTL + S) after every change I am satisfied with.
I have fixed the bug that prevents the "apply" button to work on grass. The fix will be available in a future update.
As a workaround, you can click on the "load" button (with the "...") to replace your grass material with another material, and then the "apply" button will work.
