I just commented on the add-on behaviour of Lumen-RT when working with ArchiCAD
("Der Prozedureinsprungpunkt "CCApi_DataBufferGetStringLenght" wurde in der DLL "C:\... \WebServicesClientB02.dll" nicht gefunden")
but this is worse than thought: The update leaves without a working stand-alone program
(can't open "C:\program files\bentley\bentley lumenrt connect edition - update 1\LumenRT\LumenRT_DirextX11_Editor.eon)
why is update 10 installing files in such a illogic path ?
what is an .eon-file ??
most interestingly, the update installs in some folder named
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition - Update 1\LumenRT
I guess you do propose to reinstall update 5 ... but I do press for a real solution to that error
Is this what LumenRT says, or what ArchiCAD says when trying to open LumenRT?
Default path should have been: "\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition - Update 10\LumenRT"And the mentioned .eon file is in dir: "\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition - Update 10\LumenRT\Viewer\x64\bin"
neither plugin in ArchiCAD nor starting the program directly via icon do result in opening the program; the error message is the same, and the path mentioned does not say "Update 10", it says "Update 1" (!)
to my opinion, the localization of windows (german) is not reflected by the installer ...
Hello Siegfried,
I think you just need a clean installation process.
Follow the simple method mentioned below:
1. Go this address and uninstalled the complete program
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition - Update 5\Uninstall
2. Remove all the files and folder in program data and program file.
3. Restart the system after removing the files and program.
4. Re-installed the LumenRT Update 10 software again and run.
Please let me know if this helps you or not.
Thanks.
Rg,
Ankur Ashesh
